Cascade Caverns & Campground

Located in Texas, Cascade Caverns & Campground not only gives you a chance to explore the beautiful outdoors, but you can also check out the famous living caves! Being one of seven cave attraction in Texas makes Cascade Cavern an unforgettable camping adventure.

These caves, as well as the camping, have been in operation since the 1930s. With over 100 sites to offer, this location is perfect for all campers. There are sites with full hookup services - perfect for RVs, as well as tent sites with the options of water with electric, electric-only, or no utilities. All sites come with fire rings with grills and a picnic table for you to use at your convenience.

All campers have access to the updated washroom facilities, showers, and laundry. Wireless internet is offered throughout the park. There is a convenience store offering propane and ice, found not far from the sites, giving you the option of stocking up. There is also a recreation center within the grounds where you can find vending machines, pool tables, and lots of seating.

Daily tours in the Cascade Caves are available. These interesting caves have been the stage for Hollywood movies and are the only "living" caves in Texas. Within the caves, you will find unique wildlife including salamanders, bats, and frogs (both cliff and leopard).

Dogs are welcome to accompany their owners to Cascade Caverns, but there are restrictions. Dogs are only permitted to join you if you have an RV with air conditioning. They are not allowed when camping in a tent. Your pup must also always remain on a leash when traveling through the park and never be left outside of your camping unit in a cage or kennel. Bring proof of a current rabies vaccination, and be sure to control you pet. Any aggressive behavior or excessive barking can result in your pup being asked to leave the grounds.
