Coldbrook Resort Campground

The Coldbrook Resort Campground sits on 140 beautiful acres in upstate New York. It's found at the foothills of the Adirondacks in Gansevoort, New York, so rest assured there will be no shortage of scenery during your stay! There are more than 250 RV sites to choose from with a variety of convenient amenities on-site, so you'll have everything you need for a perfect vacation. Not only is this a dog-friendly campground, but there's also a dog park for your pooch to enjoy. The resort just asks that your pet is on a leash when they're not in the dog park, and you always clean up after them.

Coldbrook has several pull-through sites that accommodate big rigs, and there are full hookup sites available with water, sewage, and electric. Guests can choose from 30 or 50-amp electric, and there are spacious restrooms with hot showers as well. There's drinking water available for campers, as well as laundry facilities and a dumping station. Most sites have lots of shade thanks to surrounding trees. If RV camping isn't your thing, there are a few tent sites available as well, but call ahead for more information, including rates.

To keep you busy during your stay, you'll have access to the resort's catch-and-release fishing pond, as well as a swimming pool and an enclosed pavilion. Your two-legged children can use the resort's playground, and there are volleyball, basketball, horseshoe, softball, and bocce ball facilities as well.

When you're not busy enjoying all of the on-site amenities at Coldbrook, there are several fun attractions nearby. For an outdoor adventure, head to Water Slide World, go horseback riding in the Adirondack Mountains, hike to the top of Prospect Mountain, or visit the Splashwater Kingdom theme park. To get a taste of the great indoors, there are plenty of museums just a short drive from the resort, as well as great shopping in Saratoga Springs.

The daily rate for a spot at this furrific resort is $52, but guests can get discounts for stays longer than one week!
