Colorado Landing RV Park is a dream escape that’s close to stores and restaurants with a well-known river flowing by. Imagine days fishing, kayaking, or just relaxing on the banks of the Colorado River, then heading into La Grange, a picturesque town and home to the Texas Quilt Museum, a monument to an American tradition. Collectors of pre-loved treasures will revel in the choice of stores, while history buffs will be wowed by the array of historical offerings.
RV sites at the camp are spacious with reasonably level pads and leafy trees for shade. Pull-through and back-in sites are on offer with good connections to electricity (20/30/50 amp), water, and sewer. Wi-fi and cable TV are present on all sites with a complimentary picnic table and enough space for a fire grill. Internal roads are wide, making it a breeze for the larger motorhomes to navigate their site with supremely clean restrooms, shower, and a laundry for RV guests. The daily rate is $40.
You can expect a peaceful stay at the park, which is located away from the main highway but close enough for folks traveling between Austin and Houston to pull off for a night of rest, then easily access the Interstate
A sparkling pool lets campers cool off under a hot Texas sun while an activity room offers DVDs, books for the serious reader, and games for indoor entertainment. The Colorado River is the ideal hangout for summer fun with swimming and tubing.
The family pooch can join in the holiday good cheer and will love romping around in the fenced dog park with other visiting pups off-leash. Canine carers are responsible for picking up doggy waste while keeping their woofer close and following the on-leash camp rule. Nature lovers will be pleasantly surprised to find intrepid trails alongside the river and through the woods where man's best friend is sure to be in fur-baby heaven. Swings along the way offer a reflective, relaxing time complete with bird watching opportunities.
Colorado Landing RV Park is a central Texas campground where life takes on a leisurely pace. Peak times are the summer and holidays, so it’s wise to book ahead.
