Description

Nestled right outside of Eagle Nest Lake State Park in New Mexico, this campground offers not only a great location with beautiful sights of the Moreno Valley Mountains but also a lot of natural amenities. Should you be wishing to visit the State Park, the campground is in close proximity - there are a lot of activities to enjoy in the Park, such as fishing (ice, boat, and shore), hiking, horseback riding, boating, cross-country skiing, and snow-shoeing, among many others. If you are just passing through, the campground itself also has a lot to offer.

Unlike other RV grounds, Golden Eagle RV Park offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as various fresh coffee options for those that enjoy lattes and espressos. To pass the time, you are welcome to play horseshoes and other outdoor activities, use the rec room with various games, or meet other campers at the community BBQ and fire pit. The campground also hosts weekly farmer's markets where you can purchase fresh produce, presents the option of basic computer classes, and even has weekly arts and crafts for campers to participate in. Should you need any supplies, there is a souvenir shop on site, an RV maintenance and supply area with certified services, and even a propane fill-up station.

All 65 campsites are made up of gravel and contain a picnic table. The RV areas offer full hook-ups and enough room to pull-through and slide out! Only a select amount of the sites are shaded; therefore, plan accordingly even though the elevation offers cooler temperatures. Your pooch is even welcome to come along with you! Be sure that they don't leave your side and is always under your command. To keep the area clean for others, please pack plastic bags to pick up after your canine companion.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
