Spread across 1,287 acres, the park is popular with anyone who loves being on, in, or around the water. The sandy beachfront provides easy access to the water for swimmers, while you can also make use of a car-top boat launching spot to get out on the lake.

If you're keen to go exploring on foot, six miles of hiking and biking trails let you investigate the beautiful natural surroundings, while the Yanty Creek Marsh area at the east end of the park has a one-mile self-guided trail. And if you visit in winter, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are also on offer.

In the spacious campground, you'll find 264 tent and trailer campsites with showers and dumping stations, picnic tables, and a kids' playground. Campsite reservations range from $24 to $26 per night.

Please note that if you're camping with your dog, a two-pet maximum applies per site. Pets are also allowed in A, B, and C loops only, so take care when booking your site to choose a pet-friendly location. Your dog will need to be kept on a leash of no longer than six feet and have a current rabies certificate. Pets are not allowed in the restrooms or in bathing areas, and you will need to dispose of your dog's waste responsibly whenever required.
