Description

New Jersey pours on the charm to offer holidaymakers a resort with activities galore and close proximity to the breathtaking shores of Cape May.

Pack up the RV and don’t forget the dog as Holly Shores Camping Resort has no issue with pets and has created a decent-sized dog park for pups to kick up their paws. Any other time, woofers are requested to be on a leash while pet-owners are asked to pick up their waste. Litter bags are available at the dog park and the entrance to an intrepid trail that leads to small lakes where fishing and kayaking are popular.

RV’s can roll onto a gravel pad where enchanting maple and oak trees provide shade. Easy connections to electricity (30/50 amp), water, and sewer are all part of the hospitable service for a daily rate of $37, with access to cable TV and wifi so you can work or stay in touch with friends back home.

The resort is set on 38 idyllic acres offering a getaway from it all, with clean showers, restrooms, and laundry, plus a fire ring and picnic table on every site. The campground's website is informative with everything you might want to know in order to make a discerning campground choice. It's wise to book in advance as RV sites may be in short supply during the summer season and annual holidays.

For a romantic stay, try their chic, safari glamping tent large enough to hold a king-size bed with a half-bathroom, coffeemaker, and microwave. Tiny houses are all the rage, so the resort has an adorable, rustic version with kitchenette and bathroom. An array of pretty, flowering cottages and cabins offer campers fully furnished accommodation with all the comforts of home. A daily fee of $10 allows pets in some cabins and the tiny house.

For resident safety, Holly Shores Campground features a securely gated entrance along with a shallow swimming pool for toddlers, two kids playgrounds, a large heated pool, and two relaxing hot tubs. The good times keep coming with volleyball, shuffleboard, and basketball courts, plus indoor fun at the camp arcade.

The hosts have left no stone unturned when it comes to offering their guests a camping experience they will never forget. Activities are planned on a daily basis and include exciting themed events. Super Heroes and Mama Mia weekends are popular, while an 80’s retro party and pooch plunge where dogs take over the pool are just a few of the fun activities.

A six-mile drive lets you discover the esoteric beauty of Cape May Beach, a popular vacation destination with glittering white sand and high-end hotels lining the perimeter. The Cape May Lighthouse has a long history of keeping ships safe in the Atlantic waves and sits in Cape May Point Park, where seekers of awesome trails can wander the coastline walkways, getting close to nature over marshlands with the lighthouse always in view.

Holly Shore Camping Resort offers a traditional, family-friendly atmosphere where wonderful memories are made!
