North Pole Resorts

While you won't find Santa Claus hanging out here, you're still bound to have fun at North Pole Resorts. The resort is located in Wilmington, New York, and no matter what type of camping you enjoy, it's available here. Want to do it the old-fashioned way and camp in a tent? Check! Prefer to stay in an RV? They'll even help you park it. If you prefer a more glamorous version of camping, there are cabins and cottages available to rent. There's also a hotel, but we won't call that camping. Nightly rates start at just $35. It's important to note that while you can stay in the cabins or hotel year-round, tent and RV camping is only available between May and mid-October.

North Pole Resorts truly is pawesome for the whole family! Enjoy playing a game of volleyball at the on-site court, or go play a round or two of putt-putt on the campground's private course. If you find yourself waiting out rain while on your camping trip, visit the game rooms; they have one for children and one for adults. We also recommend you head into the nearby downtown district, where you'll find plenty of delicious restaurants and re-tail options!

Of course, Fido is welcome to join you on your camping trip. There's a two-pet maximum and a fee of two dollars per dog, but fortunately, that isn't per night. As always, for the safety of your pup and of others, your dog will need to stay on their leash at all times. Please remember to clean up after your pet. Bags aren't provided for you, though, so you'll want to bring some along from home.
