Northlake RV Resort

Northlake RV Resort is a contemporary campground answering the needs of travelers with immaculate grounds, modern amenities, and old-fashioned Southern hospitality.

RVers are in for a treat as they drive onto a pristine, level concrete pad with a lakeside view and full hook-ups to water, sewer, and electricity (30/50 amp). The grass between motorhomes is lush and perfectly mowed, and sites come complete with picnic tables and communal barbeques close to the glorious lake where fishing from the pier is an everyday event.

Internal roads are wide enough for the bigger rigs and beautifully paved for a smooth pull-through approach. Young trees are mainly decorative, and most sites are out in the open with a daily rate of $42 to $63. Complimentary wi-fi and cable TV are included. The resort is near a highway and airport, offering some noise -- but this is a small price to pay for a classy resort that by far exceeds most campers’ expectations. 

Tastefully decorated cabins and cottages are ideal for folks needing a comfortable home away from home while working or visiting family and friends in Houston, only a 30-minute drive from the camp. All guests can enjoy the deluxe amenities, including first-rate restrooms, showers, and a laundry facility, plus a gorgeous, glittering pool and a jacuzzi for supreme relaxation.

The resort features a lounging area, mini-gym, pool tables, and a computer station for Internet users. Canine pals are welcome to join in the fun, as long as they remain on-leash. The resort features two fenced dog walk areas with litter bags provided for guardians to pick up their waste. The popular dog wash is right next door, and tails will be wagging as pups get a bath after a session of exercise and play. Gardening fans will be in their element at the Mercer Botanic Gardens, less than a 20-minute drive from the resort, with pooch-friendly trails to tempt the most seasoned of hikers  The star attraction for campers that choose to stay at Northlake RV Park is Houston, the Southern heart of culinary magic and brimming with cultural offerings. Space Center Houston is a must-visit, in addition to the Houston Zoo. Bookings are preferable at the resort, with summer and holidays being their busiest times.
