It’s plain to see the hosts at Oak Park RV Park take pride in their up-scale campgrounds with tailored lawns, attractive oak, and pecan trees for shade and pristine paved roads throughout.
There are long-termers here, but there's plenty of room for newcomers to park up the RV and be impressed by the high-end facilities. A lot of thought has gone into the layout with drive-in and out, concrete pads for motorhomes and plenty of space in between.
Roll right in and hook-up to electricity (30/50 amp), water, sewer, internet, and cable TV. There are 120 sites in the park with three, chic hotel suites equipped with heating, air-conditioning, television, microwave, and mini-fridge. Each room is tastefully decorated with a desk and a spacious living area for a comfortable overnight stay.
The campground amenities are just as supreme, offering superbly maintained restrooms and showers with a good-size laundry room. Oak Creek park sets a benchmark for others to follow with friendly, informative hosts and a classy, clean campground. If it’s a hot day, you can cool off in their in-ground swimming pool or unwind in the hot tub. There is a complete kitchen, a small gym for guests plus a recreational hall and pond that adds to the tranquil ambiance, although there is some road noise from a busy highway.
Dogs are welcome but have to be on-leash and supervised by their owners at all times. Vaccinations must be up to date and their guardians are responsible for cleaning up their pooch's waste. It’s a nice gesture to ensure your woofer is well behaved so all camp dwellers can enjoy their stay.
Oak Creek RV Park is a popular campground with no tent sites but a holiday resort atmosphere and Weatherford city around 12 miles along the road. Clark Gardens Botanical Park is a gardeners delight while Doss Heritage and Cultural Center highlight the history of this area and how it came to be the Cutting Horse capital of the world, both spots near the park.
