Pine Glen

Pine Glen Campground is nestled in the forests of northern California’s Sierra Nevada Region, and it is a fantastic location for your next camping trip. Surrounded by breathtaking mountains and just minutes away from countless outdoor recreation sites, the campground is one of the most popular in the area. It has a number of amenities to make your stay more comfortable, and it even allows you to bring your dog along with you for a furrific camping adventure!

The campsite is well-shaded by the surrounding pine forest, and it sits at an elevation of 7,800 feet (note that, due to this high elevation, you should exercise caution if you are arriving from an area of significantly lower elevation). The campground is composed of nine sites that sit around a loop, and you will find flush toilets, campfire rings, picnic tables, and trash bins throughout the sites. 

While the campground can be a great spot to relax and take in the scenery, you might want to try some of the outdoor activities that are available nearby. Hiking is popular in this area, and you are sure to encounter some amazing wildlife and natural features if you choose to explore on foot. You can also head to one of the nearby creeks or lakes for some fishing or paddling.

When you’re visiting Pine Glen Campground, keep in mind that you are in an active bear area, so food should always be safely stored and disposed of. Also, the campground’s fee depends on group size and site; the fees range from $22 to $112. There is also a $5 fee for additional vehicles.
