Description

If you’re looking for a campground that’s close to mountains with a quiet ambiance, set your course for Pine Hollow, where life takes on a slower pace. There you’ll find nature has waved its magic wand on an ethereal valley where well-established pine trees hover over a pond with a picturesque fountain.

RVers are welcome and can get instantly connected to sewer, water, and electricity with a choice of 30 or 50 amp. WI-FI is available for those wanting to stay online, as well as Cable TV. Look forward to modern restrooms and showers, with friendly hosts always ready to help.

The 60 sites available at the campground feature a grassy or gravel setting where you can pitch a tent or drive right in with your motorhome. The scenic beauty of the area is restful with great trout fishing and paddle boats to hire for family fun. The classic horseshoes are popular while the kids can play all day on the swings. Each site has its own picnic table and fire-ring for cooking the catch of the day.

Campgrounds like Pine Hollow are diamonds in the mine waiting to be discovered and enjoyed. The location is between the Vermont, Green Mountains, and the wooded Berkshire Hills, where a nomadic sanctuary awaits the weary traveler.

Dogs are allowed at this camp on a leash no longer than 6 feet in length and owners are expected to pick up their woofer's waste. It's always nice to bring the family pooch where they’ll be spoiled for choice sniffing the exciting new scents and going for walks around the country grounds. The Pine Hollow hosts request all dogs be reasonably quiet to match the serenity of this hidden gem of a campground.

A five-minute drive takes you to the endearing village of Pownal, a rural landscape and hikers haven with enchanting nature walks. Another 7 miles and you’ve arrived in Beddington, where historic buildings greet you at every turn. Shop for antiques then check out the infamous, Beddington Battle Monument, a tribute to the American Revolutionary War. If you have time, take the family to see how pottery is made at Beddington Potters.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
