Pope Haven Campground

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay in New York's Amish farm country, then look no further than Pope Haven Campground in Randolph. Pope Haven is a family-owned campground that strives to provide a wholesome camping experience for families just like their own.

The grounds support tent, RV, and cabin camping, but they also offer park models for those looking for a more permanent setting. There are 155 camping sites, 55 of which feature full hookups. Site types include pull-through, back-in, and big-rig; though those who have larger motorhomes may find these sites to be a tight squeeze. 

A general store provides all the necessities campers may need, including groceries, firewood, and RV supplies to keep their motorhome in ship-shape. Daily rates start at just $15 for primitive tent camping and go all the way up to $45 for a site with full hookups. Cabins start at $50 per night.

Pets are welcome to come along for the fun, but owners must provide proof of vaccinations for their canines. Owners are asked to pick up any "souvenirs" left behind by their pups and to keep them on-leash while roaming the grounds. 

This may be farm country, but the park has no shortage of entertainment for the city folk! The frisbee golf course is a hole-in-one with your kiddos of all ages. If that's not up to your taste, you can enjoy some friendly competition at the billiards tables or go for a swim in the heated swimming pool! The surrounding nature trails are always a big hit with the four-legged vacationers who love the aroma of the wildlife inhabitants.

The park is open from May 15th to October 15th, but don't feel pressured to make your vacation plans today. This is a hidden treasure, so you need not worry about it being booked out months in advance.
