Rocking "A" RV Park

Rocking “A” RV Park is located in Vernon Texas and is home to 75 camping spots. They accommodate RVs, big rigs, and tent camping. They also allow you to bring your dog along for your adventure. So, don't forget Fido!

By many accounts, Rocking “A” looks like you’re visiting a ranch. WIth large trees, grass, and a white fence, you’d think there would be a barn and animals, but there aren’t. They do have bathrooms and showers for visitors to use, but it looks like there aren’t any fire rings available at this site. When it comes to your RV, Rocking “A” has full hookups, tables at the sites, and room for slide outs. Onsite amenities include laundry facilities, RV storage, a self-service RV wash, metered LP gas, and even cable if you’re planning on staying in. If you’re planning to venture outside of your RV, this park has a swimming pool, playground and horseshoes to help entertain you. Not your things? That’s okay! There’s hunting, community events, car shows, museums, golfing, and more not too far away.

Excited to take Fido with you? That’s great! Keep in mind there are a few rules if you’re going to stay at Rocking “A,” however. It looks like there may be some rules about the breed of dog you have. So, call ahead and make sure your pooch’s breed is welcome at this park before making a reservation. Also keep in mind that though the website doesn’t say anything about keeping your dog leashed, most RV parks require your pup to be leashed and attended to at all times. So, don’t forget your dog’s leash! It’s also important to make sure you bring your dog’s necessities such as their bedding, food, bowls, toys, treats, medication, collar, and anything else to keep them comfy. Another important item to add to that list is poop bags. If your pup poops (which most dogs do), it’s much easier to clean up if you have a bag. So, be a responsible pet parent, and plan accordingly.
