If you are using your later years to enjoy everything that the RV parks of America have to offer, you might want to check out South Forty RV Ranch. Catering to the over-55 crowd, this park invites visitors to come and check out what's happening in Tucson.
While rigs up to 65 feet long are welcome at this establishment, it is not a place for tent camping. The campground provides short and long-term stays, as some stay here for months on end. On-site, you will find full hookups, storage, propane delivery, BBQs, and so much more. There is complimentary wifi, although word on the street is that it tends to only work close to the check-in offices. There are raised, cement patios for visitor use and much of the grounds are gravel. Monthly electricity can be added, but it does tend to be on the pricey side.
If you come to South Forty, you won't find yourself wondering what to do with your time. The ranch is proud to provide a clubhouse that features billiards, a rec room, laundry, heated pools, and an exercise room, among other amenities. The park also schedules activities for all visitors. For adrenaline junkies, there are regular trips scheduled to nearby casinos and hiking trails. If you're more into self-development, why not hop into a Bob Ross Painting Class? Whatever your interests are, you're likely to find something right up your alley at South Forty.
But what about your canine friend? They are more than welcome to join you at this park, although RVers with pooches much use spots located at the back of the park in the gravel. There are two dog parks on-site: one for the rambunctious puppers and the other for more timid fur-babies. The camp is very strict about cleaning up after your doggo. Keep poop bags on your person at all times and stoop and scoop immediately, or you and your furry companion may be asked to leave.
If you abide by the rules, there is no reason why you can't enjoy all of the mature fun going on at South Forty RV Ranch!
