If you find yourself looking for somewhere new to go camping in upstate New York, consider Alexandria Bay's Swan Bay Resort! This pupular campground has many RV sites you can rent, but if RV camping isn't your thing, there are also cabins, chalets, and bungalows available. RV campsite rates start at $55 per night, and cottage rentals start at $215 per night. Not only do rates change depending on the season, but they also vary depending on what day of the week it is. Weeknights are cheaper, for example.

If the rates seem expensive, don't fret too much. There are plenty of amenities that make the cost seem like a steal! For example, there's a grocery store on-site, meaning you won't need to venture into town if you forget something. There are also plenty of recreation opportunities, including two pools; one is for adults only. The resort's marina rents out kayaks, as well. These are just a few examples of fun waiting to be had at Swan Bay Resort!

What would a camping trip be without your canine companion, though? Swan Bay Resort is open to dogs of all shapes and sizes, and there don't appear to be any breed restrictions. You'll want to remember to bring along a leash, as it's required that Fido be on one at all times. You'll also need to bring baggies along for easy clean-up; none are provided for you, and the park requires you to pick up after your pooch. 

While Fifi is required to stay on their leash while in the campground, there is one exception to that rule. In the on-site dog park area, your furry friend is free to run around and enjoy some off-leash exercise. We're pawsitive they'll have a great time!
