The Vineyards Campground and Cabins is often considered one of the best places to camp in America, and it isn't hard to see why. Located in Grapevine, Texas, The Vineyards has 14 cabins to choose from and several RV sites. During your stay, you'll back on to a picturesque forest and face a recreational lake, and the friendly staff is always available to help. Dogs are not permitted in any of the cabins. If you are staying in an RV, your dog is welcome to come along, but they must be on a leash when they aren't in your vehicle, except at the off leash area Puppy Point.
The charming cabins have central heat and air, and many of them can comfortably accommodate large groups. The cabins face Grapevine Lake and feature flushing toilets and hot showers. RV campers have their choice of bronze, silver, and gold sites scattered throughout the campground. The spacious RV sites have full electric hookups, as well as water, sewer, and cable hookups. There's a mix of pull-through and back in spots, and gold spots come with a concrete patio, a custom-built deck, and a fire ring. All sites are well-spaced, and many have tree cover and lake views.
During your stay at The Vineyards, you'll have access to laundry facilities, a group campfire and pavilion, a fishing pier and cleaning station, a playground, a private swimming beach, as well as kayak and bicycle rentals. When you need to stretch your legs, take a stroll on one of the nearby nature trails. If you forget anything, the fully stocked camp store sells RV and BBQ supplies, ice and firewood, food, fishing supplies, souvenirs and t-shirts, and toys.
If you'd like to venture outside of the campground, you'll find plenty of points of interest nearby. Play a round at a local golf course, ride the Vintage Railroad steam engine, shop and dine in the historic downtown Grapevine, or take a hike with your dog. However you spend your time at The Vineyards, you and your pooch are sure to have a pawfect vacation!
