Animal Community Center Dog Park - Humane Society of Silicon Valley

Is your sophisticated pup looking to mingle with other well-behaved canines in Milpitas? Then bring them to the Sue and Dick Levy Dog Park for some off-leash socialization! Located within Humane Society Silicon Valley's Animal Community Center, this members-only pooch park offers a fun and safe playground for the city's doggos and their people!

Walk past one of the many double-entry gates, and you will be greeted by a well-maintained turf park with separate areas for large and small dogs, contoured rolling hills, agility equipment, wading pools, clean-up stations, and umbrella-covered picnic tables. There's certainly plenty of room and amenities to keep your dog entertained! Puppers who weigh less than 25 pounds are welcome to use the large dog area with proper supervision, but are encouraged to play in the small dog section allocated just for them. 

Before your furry friend can become a member of the Sue and Dick Levy Dog Park, they must be at least six months old, spayed or neutered, and current on their vaccinations. You'll also be required to attend a one-time seminar on dog park petiquette as part of the application process. Some of the topics covered in the presentation include canine body language, appropriate and inappropriate play, and how to avoid potential conflicts. The seminar and application will set you back $40, which is separate from the annual membership fee of $150 for a single dog, or $200 for multiple dogs on the same membership. 

In addition to access to the dog park, members receive special discounts at Humane Society Silicon Valley's clinic and pet store, as well as on dog training classes and grooming services. The best part is, all membership fees go toward helping homeless animals in the community!
