The park also provides a water hose and little pools for your dog to cool off in during the heat.

The dog park is the only off-leash area in the city, and most of the city’s biggest park, Lithia Park, is closed off from dogs. However, there are areas where you can walk your dog. Each of the dog-friendly parks and properties open to the public in Ashland provide scoops and waste bags. Be courteous to others and responsible for your own pet. Pick up after yourself and your dog. Neglecting to do so may earn pet owners a citation. You should also never bring young puppies who haven’t received all their vaccinations, females in heat, or aggressive dogs to an off-leash park.
