Walks are woofderful, but sometimes dogs need to run around off leash. Small doggos living in Healdsburg are lucky to have access to Badger Dog Park. Here they can romp and play, and burn off some of their extra energy.
With brick paths and plenty of grass, this furrific off leash area is fully fenced and located inside Badger Park. This park is unique in that it is intended for those smaller canines. Dogs 17" and under are welcome to zoom around this pawtastic playspace. Your pup will have a blast mixing and mingling with new four legged playmates. Bring a ball for a game of fetch or just let your pupster sniff around solo. This puptacular park also has some kiddie pools for splashing and cooling down.
While your dog is busy playing, you can take a seat on
one of the benches or at the picnic table, with an eye on
your fur baby. The park has some shade trees for those hot days. Water is available, as are clean-up bags, so be sure to pick up after your beloved pet.
When your pup is finished frolicking around the dog park,
clip their leash on and take a spin around Badger Park. With 11 acres to
explore, your pup will love sniffing the fields of open grass. Check out the community garden, or hike one of the trails. Another great feature of this park is the access to the Russian River. Follow the path down
to the water’s edge and let your pooch dip their paws in the cool water. The
short trail runs parallel to the river and is an excellent place for a leashed stroll
with your furry friend.
Your doggo will agree, this park is pawsitively pawsome!
