Just north of Atlanta's bustling Downtown in the Atlantic Station neighborhood, the Atlantic Station Dog Park is the pawfect place for your dog to romp with local canine pals! This small pupperdise nestled behind Element Condominiums is a well-kept and fully gated spot where your pup can run wild.
Featuring one space that welcomes dogs of all sizes, you'll need to be sure your tiny pooch can run with the big dogs here. Though on the smaller size, the dog park offers double-gated entries for the ultimutt in pup safety. Once inside the fence, take off the leash and let your dog play to their heart's content! If you've got a shy guy, consider going before 5 PM or after 8 PM for a less congested play space.Â
For you, there are benches to relax on while you watch all the fun, and clean-up bag dispensers and trash cans to make it easy to promptly pick up after your pooch. For the dogs, a circle of soft grass-like turf reigns in the middle of the park, with dirt around the sides that provides a puptastic terrain for runners, jumpers, chasers and wrestlers alike! Without any agility equipment, this park is best for pups who love open spaces to make their own fun.Â
Inside the dog park, you'll also find a water hose to fill up bowls for thirsty pups, and a few trees that provide shade throughout much of the day.
Parking is limited in this commercial neighborhood, so plan ahead and expect a short walk from any parking area. Keep your dog on leash when entering and exiting the dog park, and anywhere else outside of it. Be sure your dog is fully vaccinated before visiting, and wearing their rabies tag on their collar. And if your pup gets excited and digs a hole, always fill it back in before leaving.Â
For a furbulous afternoon full of fun canine cavorting, be sure to plan a visit to the Atlantic Station Dog Park with your dog today!
