When dogs living in Stockton want to let loose, they head over to Barkleyville Dog Park. This woofderful off leash area is located near the White Slough and is pawfect place for your pupster to burn off some steam. So pack up your pup and head over today!
Barkleyville Dog Park has not one, not two, but three
different sections. One area is for pupsters that weight less than 20 pounds.
Another one is for larger breeds. The third area is for dogs of all shapes and
sizes. This section happens to have some furrific agility equipment. If your
pup likes a challenge, they can put their athletic abilities to the test by trying
out the obstacle course. Not only is agility equipment a pawsome way to get
some exercise, it gives your pal some much needed mental stimulation. It’s a
win-win situation!
Both the small and large dog areas have plenty of room
for romping and ruffhousing. Your pup will have a ball as they meet new furry
friends. They can dart and dash around with their new pals or just mosey along
on their own. Either way, they will be all tuckered out when it’s time to go
home. Â
The park’s trees give your pup something to sniff (and
mark). They also provide much needed shade during the dog days of summer. The
grounds are beautifully landscaped, spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The
play areas are a combination of grass and dirt patches. There are also a couple
paved pathways to follow. Clean up bags and trash cans are provided on site for
your convenience, so be sure to pick up whatever your pup puts down. And doggy
drinking fountains keep the canine park patrons well hydrated.
For a puptacular afternoon out with your pooch, stop by
Barkleyville Dog Park!
