Baron Von Willard Memorial Dog Park

If you're itching to take Fido on a brand new adventure, you won't want to miss out on a trip to the Baron Von Willard Memorial Dog Park! This pawsome spot takes its name from San Clemente's first member of the K-9 Police Unit. Baron, a black German Shepherd, participated in over 800 raids with his partner during his years of service to the force. In his honor, this doggy play haven was constructed to provide a pawsitively awesome spot for doggoes to come and burn off some pent-up energy just as he loved to do! 

Home to two fully fenced dog play areas, Baron Von Willard Memorial Dog Park reserves one of them for use by the littlest of pupperonis. This furrific playground is an off-leash zone, but you should be sure to bring a leash for your pooch as he must be leashed coming to and from the runs as well as in all other areas. The local pawlice will be very happy you did!

The Baron Von Willard Memorial Dog Park is a breeze to find as it is located directly behind the baseball fields at the end of the Avenida La Pata. The dog runs are lined with grass, a surface that is woofderful for pooches to run, frolic, and play on without fear of injury. Be sure to pack a bag that contains all of the things Fido might need for his day of fun including bottled water and cleanup sacks. If you want to cop a squat on the grass with your pooch, you'll want to bring a blanket or lawn chair with you as it is not known if benches are provided. 

Baron Von Willard Memorial Park does not permit food, alcohol, or glass on the premises, so you'll need to bring drinking water in plastic containers only. It is unknown if there are any pawblic bathrooms on the premises.
