Bayfront Dog Park and Beach - Mill Valley

Looking for a spot where your fluffy bundle of energy can blow off steam? Then look no further than the Mill Valley Dog Park! Located in Bayfront Park on Richardson Bay, this pooch playground is pawfectly suited for active doggos who need lots of space to exercise sans leash. There's even a swimming area for water-loving pups!

Before you unclip Fido's leash, it's impawtant to note that the dog park isn't completely fenced, so if your pooch is still working on their recall, it may be better to leave the leash on and go for a walk around the main park instead. But if your pup does well under voice control, go ahead and let them run loose! Still, keep an eye on your doggo and make sure they can see and hear you at all times. Manners are a must, especially when there are other visitors around!

If your furry friend likes being in the water, they'll be pleased to know that the dog park provides direct access to the Bay, so they can doggie paddle to their heart's content. Remember to bring a towel, unless you want a soggy dog! For pups who prefer stay dry and on land, the park offers a couple of grassy acres to roam. There are also agility obstacles at the southern end of the site—see if you can get Fido to climb up the ramps and run through the tunnels!

Other amenities include benches, picnic tables, furrific views, ample shade, and drinking water. It is unclear if pick-up bags are provided, so be sure to bring your own. If your pupper still has leftover energy after playing in the dog park, take them for a leashed stroll on the trail that meanders through Bayfront Park.
