Bayside Dog Exercise Park
The park provides a lot of space, but relatively little shade. There is a section for small dogs outside of the open park for all sizes. This makes it a pretty safe place to bring your small dog, even if they do not typically do well with their larger counterparts.
The park itself lends plenty of room to run and has several amenities, like restrooms, dog watering hole, and bag stations. This makes it a great place to come to on a whim as they have everything you need there.
This dog park does have a 2 dog per person maximum. They must also stay in sight and within voice control at all times if they are removed from their leash. Obviously standard rules regarding cleaning up after your dog applies.
Both dog areas are fenced, which means that you can let your canine run without fear they will escape or take off. This gives them a good feeling of freedom while eliminating your worries.
Reviews of this park mention a sewage treatment plant nearby and a foul odor that occasionally falls upon the area. This does not seem to be that frequent or common, however, has turned some people off and away.
This location has little grass inside the dog zones. The canines in combination to the drought have seen to this. That means your dog will likely come home a bit dirty, covered in dust as their coats easily pick it up. Overall this park makes a great place to take your canine friend and watch them wear themselves out with the company of the other canines.
