As you may have guessed by the name, Beachfront Park enjoys a beautiful oceanside location in the welcoming Crescent City. Just a short walk from the beach, the park offers acres of green lawns, beautiful trees and flowers, and a lighthouse. This is the pawfect destination for some fun in the sun with your furry friend.
Your canine companion will love wandering through this
park. Smooth sidewalks make ideal trails for skaters, joggers, and dog walkers.
You can also follow the gravel paths to discover the more remote areas of the
park. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing walk with your furry friend as you take in
a famous West Coast sunset. Make sure your pup wears a leash at all times
during your stay at the park. Since there are no waste bags available, always
carry one in your pocket and clean up after your dog if necessary. A small
gesture goes a long way!
If you have two legged children in tow, be sure to stop
by the park’s pawsome play area known as Kidtown. With swings, slides and plenty
of things to climb on, this playground is one of the most popular spots in the
park. Dogs are not allowed in the play area, so you and your pup will have to
watch from the sidelines. Beachfront Park is also known for hosting an annual
Fourth of July party. If your pooch doesn’t mind a crowd, take them to this pop
up carnival and let them mix and mingle with the locals. There are games,
contests, booths and pony rides.
If you want to relax on a shaded bench, take a walk or
jog with your pup, or enjoy a lazy seaside picnic, Beachfront Park is your
go-to place. Â Restrooms are available.
Bring plenty of water for both you and your dog and get ready to have a woofderful
time with your furry companion!
