Biscayne Shores and Gardens Park

Palm trees, long spaces of grass, and Florida sun are all you and Fido need to have a good time outside in Florida, and Miami boasts all three of those features in multiple places. One of the more pupular places is Biscayne Shores and Gardens Park in the North Miami neighborhood right on the shore of the bay.

This pawsome park boasts more than 6 acres of green space and shade to play in, with ample parking in the southeast corner of the park. Once in the parking area, you and your leashed pup can enjoy a newly paved looping trail that travels through the park that connects to features and shaded sitting areas to enjoy. To most, the park may look pretty bare, but you and Fido you'll see a landscape perfect for running and goofing off, with room to run or play a game of fetch.

Not to mention the park still has some great dog-friendly amenities, like dog-sized water fountains, clean-up stations, benches and picnic tables, and trash bins. A dense patch of trees covers the southern part of the park, heading to open fields that surround the rest of the park and around the looping trail. A small playground and swing sets are also available at the center of the park, covered in shade by tall oak trees with benches available nearby, Although dogs are not allowed on the playground, they have plenty of roaming space to explore and play in the rest of the park. Not to mention the park also has a community garden where goods are grown by residents.

The Biscayne Shores and Gardens Park is a beautiful park that offers plenty of sun and shade, and a scenic play space for Fido to get out and not only stretch their legs.
