Boulder Bay Park

Boulder Bay Park is one of the most beautiful places you can go through around Lake Stevens or Big Bear Lake. This park has tons of gorgeous trails, incredible and unbelievable rock formations, and amazing lakes. The views are breathtaking and hard to compare to any other parks you might run into. This is a national attraction that brings thousands and thousands of visitors each year, and it is easy to see why.

Anyone who has been to Big Bear Lake before can tell you about the gorgeous scenery and views you get out here. The vegetation makes for gorgeous hiking trails. Fishing is available at the lakes and boating is available nearby. The boating is limited to canoes and kayaks as they do not want gasoline engines in the lake and the rock formations make it risky to use a sailboat. These attractions make for a great place for you and your family to visit. 

Should you bring your canine? Well, that depends. If you are a local or live nearby, then absolutely. This park makes for some of the most gorgeous walking and hiking you could possibly take part in. If you are traveling here on vacation then the deciding factor may be where you are staying. Many of the places around here would not allow pets. This park also does not have an off-leash area. There is a great deal of wildlife that canines would often take off after and the park tries to maintain an undisturbed ecosystem. 

Because it is unfenced your canine might take off after something and find themselves lost and away from you. This park is also open to camping, and many places around the lake may have campsites available to you.
