Brisbane itself has a ton of dog parks, and as far as how they stack up, this one is definitely not the best and most beautiful on the list. It is; however, well located and only about ten minutes from the airport for people who have just arrived in the city. This park is well maintained by the city and a regular crowd of locals who frequent the park. You are required to pick up your canine's poop, but poop that is left by those who lack manners is regularly cleaned up for the betterment of the park.
According to the city council, all dogs that enter this or any other park in the city must be registered with the city council and checked for worms regularly. They must be up to date on any shots and have no history of aggression toward people or other canines. They must remain in sight and under voice control at all times and cannot be a nuisance to other dogs or owners. According to the city council, Brisbane offers 135 off-leash dog parks within the city limits. As such, if you are a resident of this city, or if you are looking for a great place to go on vacation with your canine, Brisbane holds it's head high as one of the best in the nation.
