Brisbane Dog Park

Dogs in Brisbane know the place to be- the Brisbane Dog Park! Also called Hatter Park, this pupperdise is hidden behind the City Hall building, and can be accessed from Park Lane, through the City Hall parking lot, or through the Brisbane Police Department parking lot. Parking for the dog park is available on the street, or in the police station lot where there are 6 spaces just for the dog park. 

Once through the double-gated entry of the park, your pup can ditch the leash and romp throughout this narrow and long stretch of fully fenced in land. Pawfect for a game of fetch, this strip of land is surrounded by city buildings, making this dog park feel away from it all. There aren't any separate areas here, so small puppers should feel confident to run with the big dogs. 

Hoses and water bowls are on site for thirsty pups to rehydrate, and on hot days, a kiddie pool is filled for dogs to get a splash in. Covered in grass and dirt, the park can become muddy in some areas, so have a towel handy for a quick wipe off before getting back in the car. A dog fire hydrant is a pupular spot for the male canines. Community volunteers maintain the plants weekly to help this park stay vibrant and lovely, so be sure your dog doesn't dig up all their hard work. And since there are clean-up bags available, do your part and always pick up whatever your dog lays down. 

For pup parents, there are seating areas complete with tables, plenty of padded chairs, and picnic tables, giving you lots of places to relax while your furry bestie gets their play on. And since the park is open 24/7, there are even lights for when it gets dark, so the fun can continue! A leash rack is at the front entrance for your convenience too. Before bringing your dog to the park, be sure they have a current license and are up to date on vaccinations.
