The park is clean and well-maintained. For the convenience of all visitors, pooper scoopers are provided on site. Owners are asked to facilitate preserving the parks high cleanliness standards by promptly picking up and disposing of their dog's waste materials in the provided trash receptacles.
Also provided on site is a fresh water supply as well as tennis balls and frisbees for all dogs to enjoy during their visit to the park. There are also picnic tables on site where owners can relax while they observe their dogs at play; however, shaded areas are in short supply at this facility.
There are two separate entrances to this dog park. One is accessed through the parking lot attached to the Cipriani School. The second entrance is located via a narrow, picturesque walking trail which connects the dog park to Buena Vista Avenue through the Athletic Field.
This dog play haven is free to the public. All dogs are welcome to attend, but dogs displaying socially inappropriate or aggressive behavior will be asked to vacate the premises. Nearby Cipriani Park offers picnic areas, a ball field, and a playground structure suitable for small children. There are no public bathrooms available at this facility. This dedicated dog play space opens at 7 am and closes at 8:30 pm.
While the fenced enclosures are designated off leash areas, owners are asked to keep their dog on lead when travelling to and from the runs and in other areas of the park. While there are no specific regulations regarding requirements for the use of this facility, it is recommended that all dogs be current on vaccinations and bear their required state license tag.
