The recently renovated space boasts of brand new deck facilities as well as picnic tables and access to fresh water. Also new to the space are containers which dispense poop bags that are biodegradable. Owners are asked to make use of the poop bags to pick up and properly dispose of any canine waste materials. This much-beloved park was the vision of a group of community volunteers who maintain this park to this day. Visitors to this dedicated dog facility laud its cleanliness and attention to detail.
Coast Side Dog Park operates from sunrise to sunset and is free of charge for all dogs and their owners. Though no membership is required to enjoy this park, the volunteers who are responsible for its oversight appreciate donations from regular attendees. All funds go towards preserving and maintaining the great space for all dogs and their owners to enjoy.
Dogs who exhibit aggressive behavior are not permitted to use this facility. Female dogs in heat are also to remain at home until they are no longer in season. All dogs are to remain on a lead until they enter the fenced in play area. It is required that any prong or choke collars be removed prior to any playtime in the enclosure.
Any dog making use of the fenced play areas must bear a tag with their name and their owner's name and contact information. It is strictly forbidden for an owner to leave their dog unsupervised at any time. For the utmost in safety measures and to help combat the spread of disease, all dogs attending Coast Side Dog Park must be current on all vaccinations as well as bear the appropriate required state license tag.
