Located along Ocean Drive along the lovely Emerald Cove, the furbulous Cole Park is a family-friendly location that includes everything from beautiful bay views to covered pavilions, large recreational spaces, and plenty of of amenities. Parking is available on either side of the park, making this one easy park to access.
Cole Park is a safe and enjoyable place to go birdwatching or take a relaxing walk. Your pup will love strolling by the shoreline along the trail that stretches the length of the park. Whether walking along the coastline or socializing with the other pups nearby, Cole Park is furrific for a few hours of doggie fun. The park features a large children’s playground for the little two-leggeds in your pack, as well as plenty of open space to enjoy a picnic or a family BBQ.
An amphitheater provides free outdoor concerts on Thursday and Sunday evenings throughout the summer for those pups who don't mind loud noise. A 10,000 square foot concrete skatepark beside the beach has both a street and bowl section. Occasionally, the property also features dog training classes for pups of all shapes and sizes. Take a walk further south to see Oleander Point for its gorgeous views of the cove. Nearby is a wooden stairway to a small stretch of beach that is pawfect if your dog loves kicking up the sand.
Public restrooms are on site for the humans, but do bring clean-up bags and pick up after your pup. Trash cans are located throughout the park. It's also a good idea to bring drinking water and a bowl for your thirsty dog. Always keep your dog leashed throughout your time at Cole Park, and be sure they are vaccinated and licensed before arriving.
