D. L. Bliss State Park

D. L. Bliss State Park is a fabulous state park that sits in the Lake Tahoe area. Most visitors love to come here during the summer time to fulfill all of their recreational desires. In 1929, the family of D.L. Bliss donated 744 acres of land, which is now this state park. This park is known for its crystal clear waters and different hiking trails that surround Lake Tahoe. 

It is suggested that you check on the weather before you come to D. L. Bliss State Park as it can become a bit brisk during the winter time. When you come and visit this state park, you will find many different amenities that are available for your enjoyment. There are campsites, hiking trails, picnic tables, picnic shelters, a beach area, parking, restrooms, outdoor showers, and availability for all types of recreational activities. 

Dogs can also come to this state park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their entire stay. During your time at D. L. Bliss State Park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the park. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. 

All dogs and their humans must be well-mannered before they come to D. L. Bliss State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in the D. L. Bliss State Park. 

If you wish to camp, you must schedule a reservation. Reservations can be made on the D. L. Bliss State Park's website or in the park's main office. If you are in the Lake Tahoe neighborhood, make sure to head on down to D. L. Bliss State Park.
