Dougherty Hills Dog Park

Dougherty Hills Dog Park is located in Dublin, California. A much-loved dog playground, this picturesque property is home to two fenced areas where off-leash playtime is welcomed and encouraged. To provide a safe space for small, senior, and shy dogs, one of the enclosures has been designed specifically to meet their needs.

Here, dogs can frolic and play with dogs similar in size, personality, and/or age, and all without the need for a lead. Though Dougherty Hills Dog Park proudly offers off-leash play areas, the focus always remains on proper safety measures. To ensure the safety of all dogs using the play spaces, owners must have a lead on their person at all times on the property. 

It is also important to note that when visiting areas outside of the designated off-leash zones, all dogs must remain leashed. Dougherty Hills Dog Park is a popular dog playground. To allow as many dogs and their owners to frequent the facility as possible, access is provided at no cost. 

Visitors to this dog play haven remark on its spaciousness which offers ample room for dogs to run, play, and roughhouse. The play areas themselves are comprised of grass. Some visitors do make note that the runs do contain some holes from animals which burrow in the earth, so care must be taken to watch your step. The terrain offers a slight hill, but unfortunately, there is very little shade. 

The dog runs include both water to address Fido's hydration needs and poop bags to ensure owners have all of the tools needed to clean up after their dogs properly. Benches are also situated throughout the grounds, and bathrooms are available on the premises for public use.
