El Segundo Dog Park

El Segundo Dog Park is a dedicated dog playground located in El Segundo, California. This lovely park space is a family favorite haunt. Much-praised for its well-sized dog runs, El Segundo Dog Park is home to two fenced enclosures. To ensure that small, senior, and shy dogs have a space more suited to their needs, one of the play spaces is reserved exclusively for their use. 

Here, dogs can enjoy socialization, off-leash exercise, and general play with dogs who are similar in size, age, and personality. To prevent accidents or injuries, El Segundo Dog Park officials do require that all owners carry a lead with them at all times. Some owners do remark that the runs are quite narrow, but they also note that what they lack in width they make up for in length.

The El Segundo Dog Park, a public dog facility, offers access to their grounds free of charge. Housed within the runs is a plentiful supply of drinking water to be certain Fido and his friends can have a cool drink when needed. The play areas are also complete with pooper scoopers though it has been noted that the poop bag dispensers at this park are often empty. 

To ensure you have a bag when you need it, it is best to bring some with you from home. The responsibility for all pet waste removal lies with each owner, and park officials gratefully acknowledge the cooperative efforts to help keep the park a clean place for all to enjoy. Seating in well-shaded areas is also provided on the grounds. Here, owners can relax and reflect in a quiet, serene setting while their dogs enjoy a vigorous run. 

It is unknown if bathrooms for public use are housed on the grounds. El Segundo Dog Park has not posted any specific regulations regarding the use of their public play haven.
