This woofderful park proudly offers two fenced dog runs which are well-suited to socialization and romping in an off-leash setting. Since small dogs can easily get trampled and injured under the feet of larger dogs, there is a dog play area reserved just for them which also welcomes elderly or more timid pups. A double gated entry for both runs offers extra security, and once past it, your dog can ditch the leash and run free. Covered in a terrain of mostly dirt and gravel with a little grass, this park offers lots of picnic type seating for you to relax on while your dog gets social. And with plenty of shade, you and your pup can find a nice spot on those hot days.
Restrooms for the humans are nearby, and a parking area is right at the entrance to the park off of Paradise Knolls. A water fountain is pawfect for thirsty pups, you just need to bring a bowl. Clean-up bags and trash cans are also on site, so be sure to always pick up after your pup.
As with any dog park, be sure your dog is fully vaccinated and licensed before coming to the park, and wearing their tags. If your dog gets their fill of the dog park, clip that leash back on and take a stroll around Earl Warren Park's grassy areas. With some trails, a baseball field, soccer field, track and a playground, there's something to suit the whole family.
