Ella and Friends Dog Park is a public dog park located in Deer Park, Texas. It is one-and-a-half acres in size and provides the dog owners in the community with a safe environment that they can take their dogs to for off-leash exercise and socialization.
The fenced dog park consists of two spacious areas including a large area for big dog breeds and a smaller section for the small dogs. Both areas have simple layouts, with the small dog section being long and narrow. The dog runs are covered in tons of grass and have tall, mature trees growing throughout them which creates plenty of shade. Both areas are also equipped with fire hydrants, agility obstacles, and varied terrain for dogs to explore with their four-legged buddies.
The Ella and Friends Dog park is equipped with both human and doggie water fountains, as well as several benches and shelters for owners to relax on while they watch their pooches play. Though the small dog area has a good drainage system in place as there is rarely ever any standing water there, the large dog section does have the occasional puddle that dogs simply love to splash around in.
There are also two sandboxes for dogs that love to dig. Thankfully, the dog park features a washing station for post playtime clean-up, just make sure to bring a towel with you. This dog park is very clean and well-maintained thanks to the dog waste bag stations and conveniently located trash cans so don’t forget to clean up after your pooch if you visit this gorgeous, green park.
Though the park is popular in the community, it rarely ever gets crowded, making it the perfect location for a relaxing time outdoors with your dog. There are also restrooms within walking distance which is great if you end up spending the entire day at this dog park.
