Human amenities include a large shelter at one end, furnished with a picnic table and benches, and a handy bulletin board for news and notifications. Here you can sit and work on your laptop or just enjoy a coffee while the canines zoom and tumble together. It provides great shade for the doggos, too, when they're ready to rest a bit. A cement walkway leads from the entrance to the shelter to keep the doggy parents' shoes clean. Tables and benches are scattered around the play area, and shade trees provide cooling places to rest or read a book. The surface is grass and crushed stone, which can occasionally become puddly after a rain, but if your pup becomes dirty, there are hoses and a kiddie pool to rinse off in.Â
Conveniently located in the middle of a residential area, you'll find free street parking alongside the park. Because homes are clustered around, it's desirable to try to curb barking as much as possible. Waste bags and receptacles are provided, so there's no excuse for not cleaning up after your pup!Â
Toys and balls are welcome to add to the frivolity, and you'll find lots left by others for your pup's fetching pleasure. With tons of running and romping room, and opportunities to meet new friends or greet old ones, your fur-baby will have lots of fun while you meet some friends of your own!
