Dogs in the Fox Park neighborhood of St. Louis have a place all their own! Nestled in the lovely community park of the same name, the Fox Park Dog Park is just the place for pups to ditch the leash and kick up their heels.
You can find the dog park behind the baseball field in the center of the community park. Black metal fencing completely surrounds these 0.3-acres, and features a double-gated entry on Shenandoah Avenue. Agility equipment, such as ramps, provide some extra fun for doggos, while kiddie pools are pawfect for a cool splash. A water fountain caters to both you and your dog, while benches give you a place to watch all the action. And while restrooms for you are located in the pavilion near the dog park, clean-up bags are on hand to help pick up after your pup inside the off-leash area.Â
Fox Park is a furrific spot for the community to gather and play. Only steps away from the dog park is a playground for the little two-leggeds in your pack. And with a basketball court, splash pad and soccer field, there's plenty to satisfy the whole family.Â
Like most dog parks in St. Louis, the dog park is for members only. Whether you are a resident of Fox Park, or are from another neighborhood, you can purchase an annual membership for the dog park for $40. Additional dogs in the same household are just $20 for the year. Your dog does need to be current on vaccinations, including Rabies and Bordetella, and be at least 4 months old.
