Friendship Park is a pawpular neighborhood park with a walking path your dog is sure to love! This 10.8-acre park welcomes dogs on-leash, and it has plenty of great features for you and your pup.
Friendship Park’s 0.25-mile walking path begins at the entrance to the park on Forest Ridge Drive. The flat, paved path winds through the park, taking you past the park’s major attractions. As you and your pup stroll along the path, you’ll go by Friendship Park’s playground and an outdoor basketball court. You’ll also walk past a huge field where you can play Frisbee with your pup or go for a run. Your dog is sure to enjoy running, playing, and rolling around in the grass here!
If you need a break during your walk, there are benches along the path. If you or your dog get thirsty, the park also has a water fountain you can use to fill your pup's bowl. There isn’t much shade throughout the park, so be sure to give your pup plenty of water while you’re on your walk.
If you and your pup are hungry, Friendship Park has a pawesome picnic area. This picnic area has charcoal grills which are perfect for cooking hot dogs or burgers for you and your furry best friend. You can enjoy your delicious meal at one of the park’s scenic picnic tables.
