There are two separate sections, one for small breeds and another for the little guys. There are even balls to go around, so all you need to bring is your best pal! There is drinking water for your parched pup available here too.
The dog park provides doggy waste bags, so please make sure to pick up after your pet wherever you’re exploring in Heather Farm Park. Keep a close eye on your dog and watch for aggressive behavior so that this can remain a safe haven for everyone.
If Fido is not one to be fenced in, he can explore the rest of Heather Farm Park with you on leash. The park features a natural area with large gardens, pathways, a fishing pond, and a lake. From here you can connect to some other pawpular trails, including the Iron Horse Trail. Some other amenities include playgrounds, a large variety of athletic fields, a community center, and picnic areas.
