If you’d like to spend time with your pup at a furrific park right on the Hudson River, head to Hudson River Pier 26 Park! This park offers great views of the water, and it also has a pawsitively amazing dog run that your pup is sure to love.
Hudson River Pier 26 Park’s dog run, Tribeca Dog Park, features separate areas for large dogs that weigh more than 23 pounds, and small dogs that weigh less than 23 pounds. Both enclosures are fenced and double-gated, keeping your pup safe and secure while they’re playing.
The ground in the dog park is concrete, and there are lots of fun boulders for pups to climb on. The park also has a doggy pool that’s perfect for those muggy New York summer days. If you need to clean up after your dog, doggy bags are available in the dog park.
Once your pup is finished playing, put their leash back on and check out the rest of Hudson River Pier 26 Park! You can go for a walk with your pup along the Hudson River, or you can sit on one of the park’s benches and enjoy views of the water. Pier 26 is also home to a delicious restaurant that welcomes dogs in their outdoor area, City Vineyard. This restaurant serves a wide variety of locally sourced dishes, including flatbreads, sandwiches, and seafood dishes.
