Description
Kahana Valley State Park is a park in the Oahu region that is filled with endless amounts of beauty and adventure. This state park is on the windward side of Oahu, and it covers over 5,000 acres from the ocean to the high mountains. It is perfect if you are in an adventuresome mood to explore the Oahu area. 

When you visit this state park, you will find many different amenities that are available for your enjoyment. There are hiking trails, mountain sights, camping, fishing, hunting, a boat ramp, picnic tables, picnic shelters, campsites, hydration stations, trash cans, and showers. 

Your furbuddy can also come to the Kahana Valley State Park, but they must remain on a six-foot-long leash during their stay, and they must also stay by their owner's side. During your visit to this state park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the Kahana Valley State Park authorities. 

Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to this park as they do not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. 

Pet parents should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in the Kahana Valley State Park. If you wish to camp, you must schedule a reservation. Reservations can be made on the park's main website. You cannot have open fires, motorized vehicles, alcoholic beverages, or commercial activity in this park. 

In addition, smoking is also prohibited when you are here. Overall, the Kahana Valley State Park is a marvelous spot to visit in the Oahu region. If you are looking for pure exhilaration, come on down to this state park. You will have the experience of your life with your friends, your family, and your favorite pup.
