With this in mind, a solid recall is mandatory for all dogs enjoying off-leash activity. Additionally, dogs may accompany their owners on any of the many hiking trails at John F. Kennedy Memorial Park; however, in these areas, they must remain on a leash of no greater than six feet in length. Kennedy Park Off-Leash Area is a public dog playground.
Entrance to the property is permitted at no cost. This dog play haven offers no amenities on the grounds. Because of this, they recommend that owners bring the following items with them from home: bottled water, a dog dish, lawn chairs, and poop bags. The responsibility for all pet waste removal lies with each owner.
It is unknown if bathrooms are available for public use at Kennedy Park Off-Leash Area. This beautifully landscaped community park also offers many attractions sure to interest the entire family. Among the great recreational opportunities are softball, baseball, and soccer fields; a playground, volleyball courts, and a boat ramp.
There is also a BMX course, a remote control airplane landing strip, a skate park, and an 18 hole golf course. Also on the grounds are many hiking trails, several of which run the length of the picturesque Napa River. Kennedy Park Off-Leash Area has not publicly posted any official regulations for those who visit their park to observe.
To help protect all dogs against the spread of the disease, up to date vaccinations are highly recommended.
