Lago Mar Dog Park

Lago Mar Dog Park is a dedicated dog playground in Miami, Florida. A relatively new space which sits on 1.25 acres of property, Lago Mar Dog Park offers a fully fenced play space suitable for off-leash play, proper socialization, and vigorous running. Though many parks now offer an enclosure specifically for use by small, timid, or elderly dogs, there isn't one at this particular dog park at this time. 

However, all dogs, regardless of size or breed, are invited to enjoy Lago Mar Dog Park's single play space. Off-leash play is part of the vision for this dog playground, but owners are still required to carry a leash with them as a safety precaution.

Lago Mar Dog Park is a public dog play haven. Access to the grounds is available free of charge. This dog playground is a bare-bones facility, but what it lacks in amenities, it makes up for in space and charm. Visitors to the dog runs make note that there is ample room for dogs to burn off pent up energy. 

Water is available in the dog play areas to ensure all dogs are able to quench their thirst. Poop bags are not provided. Since owners are required by law to pick up after their pets, they must bring some bags with them from home for this purpose. Bathrooms are not housed on the grounds here or in neighboring Lago Mar Park. 

Lago Mar Park is a family-centric destination hotspot. This recreational area offers families the opportunity to play basketball or volleyball on the grounds. Also available at this location are fitness zones, pavilions, walkways, a playground, and a picnic shelter. 

There are no officially posted rules regarding the use of Lago Mar Dog Park. However, it is always wise for dogs to be current on vaccinations in order to protect your dog against the spread of disease. Additionally, a city dog license is always an excellent idea.
