Laguna Woods Dog Park (Closing)

Is your pup itching for some off leash time? Then pack 'em up and head over to A Place for Paws dog park! Though this off leash area isn't the largest of dog parks, it definitely gives your furry friend a puptacular place to scamper around without the confines of a leash. 

Since there is not a designated parking lot,  you will need to find a spot on the street. Once your pal is safely inside the gate, they can ditch their leash and run amuck! The park has a unique shape. It's not very wide, but is pretty long, and resembles a tree lined avenue. Most of the dog park is covered in artificial turf, but there are a few gravel areas. Shade trees cast some shadows in the afternoon, giving people and their pets some relief from the warm sun. Due to its size, A Place for Paws isn't ideal for energetic breeds that need to run. But if your athletic pup is in the mood for a friendly romp, this park is the pawfect place to visit. And with a separate area for smaller pooches and older doggos, every dog can feel welcome! 

While your fur baby is frolicking, take a moment and relax in one of the chairs. Enjoy a bit of chit chat with other pet parents, just be sure to always have an eye on your pupster. Since the park is small, it's super impawtant that you pick up after your pooch. Garbage cans and clean up bags are available, and there's even a doggy drinking fountain for thirsty pups. And since this pawsome park is open year round, your dog can enjoy social time san leash in every season.
