The overall park area covers over two acres, and it was developed in 1971 while it was established in early 1972, and it was named after the Elementary School that sits near this park area. When you come and visit Lakeview Park, you will find many different types of amenities that are available for your enjoyment.
You will find a large grass area, playgrounds, benches, shade, a sandy playground, swing sets, and available street parking. There are also walking paths that you can enjoy with your favorite pup in this area as there is not an area that is designated for dogs to be off-leash. During your visit to this park region, you must follow the rules and regulations that have been requested by the city of Huntington Beach.
Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to this park as this park does not tolerate any destructive behavior, and humans must pick up and watch over their pooches while they are here.
Humans should also carry water and dog bags for all of their fun times in this park. Overall, the Lakeview Park is a fabulous region to visit in the Huntington Beach region. If you are in the vicinity, come on down and check it out for yourself. You and your pup will have a great time that is full of memories.
