A pawrifically pawpular doggy playground inside the larger Langdon Park, this community dog park offers a large fully fenced enclosure where pooches of all varieties can enjoy off-leash play and the wooftastic opportunity to enjoy the DC canine social scene all in a safely contained space. 

The play space is complete with gravel and grass to offer your doggo great traction to prevent injuries or accidents during roughhousing and creating general havoc. Though your pup has no need of a lead in the play run, you will still need to bring one with you for travel in other pawblic areas where off-leash activity is not permitted.

Langdon Dog Park has left no stone unturned in setting up a doggy play haven that is sure to please even the most discriminating pooch! You will find lots of tree stumps for your dog to climb and perch on to see the world from a different point of view. Also included in the doggy playground are water fountains and cleanup bags. Benches are situated throughout the grounds, affording you a comfy spot to kick back and watch your pupperoni trot out their best zoomies or just roam around having a ball. 

As with most pawblic dog parks, your pooch will need to be up to date on vaccinations. A city dog license is also required by the DC pawlice. 

Though you don't really need to bring a thing to this pawsome dog play space, you might want to grab a few extra cleanup bags to help replenish the park's supply if they are getting low. Since this doggy play haven operates purely on volunteer labor and donations, you might want to consider chipping in a few bucks to help with the costs of maintenance and future improvements.
