Long Branch State Park

Long Branch State Park is located in the beautiful region of Missouri, providing all types of visitors will endless amounts of fun. This state park has a long-standing history from when sheets of ice first moved over the land. Since then, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers decided to create a dam, so the Missouri area could use this region as a recreational park while controlling the water flow.

You will also find many different trails that enter up in the Chariton River Hills Natural Area, boat ramps, a swimming beach, and a marina store. Dogs can also visit Long Branch State Park, but they need to remain on a six-foot-long leash the entire time. 

During your stay at this park, you must follow the rules and regulations that are enforced by the area of Long Branch State Park. Dogs must be licensed, tagged, and vaccinated before they can enter the park, and female pooches in heat and young pups under four months old must remain back at home. 

Dogs must be well-mannered before they come to Long Branch State Park as this park does not tolerate any aggressive behavior, and humans must clean up and watch over their dogs while they are here. Humans should also bring water and dog bags for all of their fun adventures in this park.
