Marina Dog Park

Is Fifi ready for some exercise and play? Then why not bring your fur baby to the Marina (Schoonover) Dog Park in Marina, California? This unique dog park used to be a baseball field but now serves as a space for your pooch to run freely off-leash. Fifi will be grateful for the two separate areas for large and small pooches. Your canine will also appreciate the water available on site. 

Dog owners will be happy to see the bags and pooper scoopers here as well as trash cans. The park owners listened to past visitors who recommended a double gate and more trash cans because these features were added recently. Now the trash no longer overflows, and the entrance is better maintained. The Marina (Schoonover) Dog Park is a decent size and has plenty of sand and grass for Fifi to roll in. 

There’s also plenty of shade because of the trees. And Fifi will love playing fetch with the provided tennis balls. The park has posted dog park rules at the entrance such no aggressive dogs allowed, you must have your dog in sight at all times, and visitors are liable for any damage caused by their pooch in the park. But, dog owners can relax on the chairs provided and look out to a beautiful naturesque view in the distance. 

Dog owners will also be happy to see the water available for their fur babies. Fifi will love the large dirt pit that doggies can dig in. Visitors are encouraged to help out with the safety and cleanliness of the park when seeing the signs that say, "Leash and clean up." Fifi will also socialize with other pooches and get out some pent-up energy at this free doggy space.
