Meadowbrook Dog Park is located in the Golden Hills area of Tehachapi, California. This popular dog play haven is housed on verdant grassy pasture and consists of two fully fenced play areas. Both of the enclosures are lined with grass, a substance which is kind to canine joints.
To ensure the safety of small, senior, and shy dogs, one play area has been reserved exclusively for their use. Here, dogs can enjoy off-leash play time with dogs well-suited to their size, age, and personality. To prevent potential accidents or an injury, owners must carefully supervise all play time and maintain ready access to a lead.
Meadowbrook Dog Park, a public dog play haven, is open to all dogs and their owners free of charge. The dog runs are equipped with agility equipment, drinking water, benches, and plentiful shade from trees. Visitors to this lush park note that there is ample room for dogs to enjoy a vigorous run or rousing game of play.
It is unknown if poop bags are provided. Since the onus for all pet waste removal falls to the owners, it is wise to bring some bags from home to assist with this task. The Meadowbrook Dog Park management team gratefully acknowledges all owner participation in helping to preserve a clean and beautiful park for all to enjoy.
There are no public bathrooms housed on the premises. Meadowbrook Dog Park has implemented a few rules owners must observe when frequenting the playground. There is a maximum of two furbabies per handler, per visit to the dog park.
Additionally, children under four feet in height are not permitted in the runs. This park has a strict no-tolerance policy regarding cigarettes, food, or alcohol on the grounds. Dogs are also to be current on vaccinations and in possession of a city dog license. For a day of fun in the California sun, plan a trip to Meadowbrook Dog Park!
